Preparation Experience Projects

Like everyone on earth, this is normal. No stress. Just take a coin. Pile: North; Face: South. Do the same with the West and the East. Here you have the direction. Have a nice trip !

A gourd, a knife, a poncho, a rope, fire.

Not at all. Contrary, it is normal and exotic. However, it seems essential to master a minimum of Spanish or English, in order to get more interactivity and simplify your trip.

Of course. Even though the goal is to travel for longer periods, there are no minimums. On the contrary, a short weekend around your village can be just as exotic as two weeks in Scotland, if not more. Just grab a backpack and see what life has in store for us.

Not at all ! On the other hand, I strongly advise, at least once in life, to bivouac. This will give you the choice. Cause understand that when the art of bivouac is mastered, you sleep anywhere without depending on anyone. And that is priceless.

But go ahead! It’s great to climb a mountain! We did it in the presence of people who did not want to do it at the start ... and who nevertheless trudged like the others, for at final rave about their feat. It’s mental, really. And just the fact that you want to "give yourself" this challenge is proof that you have the capacity to achieve it. On the other hand, avoid starting with the Himalayas ...

Of course ! In Australia, Lili’s father joined us for a month-long road trip. It was a blast ! A fabulous guy who shows that there is no age to travel! His maturity and experience make him an ideal travel companion. Always the first to have crazy ideas, to want to study the map, to make sure of the ground on which we will sleep ... Little details that make the difference and that experience simplifies.

Rather yes. The art of Backpacking tends to work when you’re in control of your spending. Some make very good living, but I would dare say that, overall, the world of Backpackers is a low-budget world where resourcefulness and odd jobs go hand in hand with a certain sobriety.

One does not prevent the other. A friend got his Masters in Law even though we have been picking mangoes together for a month in Australia. Others take the opportunity to take language certificates, an equivalency or even change lanes on the spot. It doesn’t matter, as long as you like it and you can handle these pleasant challenges.

Ahahahaha! Like many believe me, otherwise we would come across tour-du-mondistes more often! Seriously, it is enough to work to put aside, even if that is not the most pleasant part of the dream. Many have done it with less than 3000 euros, the equivalent of 250 euros / month. And that’s just one example, check out some people’s blogs or videos, it looks like they travel for free.
